• It is felt need that management experts need to develop concern about environment. This Programme focuses on providing you with theoretical and practical knowledge for success in the ever changing environmental technology field. The course combines the natural and social sciences in a truly interdisciplinary manner, providing a foundation for graduates to demonstrate their ability to identify and resolve environmental and sustainability issues in a holistic way.

• An understanding of environmental issues in general and related industrial sector in particular.
• A flare for environment management in the industrial sector.
• To improve awareness about environmental issues and remedial measures with a social aspect.
• To develop environment friendly policy instrument.

• The experience shall be counted after acquiring the requisite qualification and should be as under:

1. Experience should be in Manufacturing, Maintenance, Environmental Department of an Industry or working as Professional.

OR

2. Experience in Environmental Laboratory or Analytical Laboratory of Effluent Treatment.

OR

3. Experience in Research, Training or Education in the field of Environment or Engineering or Technology.

OR

4. Experience in a Government Department in Administration of Environmental Legislation or in Public Health Department.

• The eligible candidate can apply for as per above mention criteria of eligibility by TEB for admission. Admission to the program would be based on performance of the Interview conducted by institute and evaluation of their educational qualification and work experience.
• The final merit list of selected candidate would be on basis of quota and marks as per the norms of TEB.

• Participate in Industrial Visits, Seminars, etc.
• Celebration of Safety Day

• Has passed the final examination at the end of the Programme (including the oral examination); and
• Has completed project work and practical tests to the prescribed standard; will be eligible to receive the post diploma
• The diploma will be awarded by the Technical Examinations Board, Gujarat.

• The course is for two-year part time course of 4 semesters. Academic Term for PDIET&M will commence from June-August.

• 80% of attendance in class is compulsory as per the norms of TEB.
